The Township of West Lincoln, a community of 14,000 in Southwestern Ontario wanted its first economic development strategy to build upon the community’s agricultural history and complement the Niagara Region’s economic development efforts.
The strategic planning process included a review of existing planning policies and procedures, comprehensive economic and demographic analysis and broad community and stakeholder consultation.
The resulting strategy includes six goals and strategic objectives with a detailed action and implementation plan and performance measures.
